About Me

Emma Hackney was born and raised in Dalton, Georgia. She grew up as a ballerina, and saw her first theatre performance at ten, when she saw Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. From that moment on, the wonder of how exactly productions were put together began. In high school, she enrolled in theatre classes, began learning about the technical aspects of theater, and quickly learned that Stage Management was the thing for her. Now, she is enrolled in the University of West Georgia’s theatre program, intending to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in design and technology.
